BRATISLAVA, March 5, (WEBNOVINY)- Slovakia is the gate to Europe for businesspersons from Taiwan and Taiwan serves to Slovaks as the gate to Asia, said the head of the Slovak Parliamentary Committee for European Issues and the head of the Parliamentary Friendship Group between Slovakia and Taiwan, Ivan Stefanec. He leads the Slovak delegation on visit to Taiwan. The delegation has visited scientific and technical parks, and spoke with top managers of the companies AU Optronics and Delta Eletronics, which have invested also in Slovakia. They met with potential investors as well.
Representatives of the Taiwan National Association for Small and Medium-Size Enterprises and the Union of Small and Medium-Size Enterprises in Slovakia have signed a memorandum on cooperation between small entrepreneurs. The memorandum incorporates support of cooperation and development, exchange of experience, technical cooperation, seminars and professional trainings and mediation of partnerships for future joint projects.
