According to Prime Minister Robert Fico, economy and finance ministers are expected to submit the proposal to the cabinet whether Slovakia will participate in the tender for the purchase of a privatised 66-percent stake in the power utility Slovenske Elektrarne.
The cabinet is expected to discuss the sale of a 66-percent stake in the power utility Slovenske Elektrarne by Italian company Enel soon. „Economy minister in cooperation with finance minister were asked to submit the proposal to the cabinet soon whether the state will participate in the tender and under which conditions to repurchase a privatised 66-percent-stake or a different stake with the aim to acquire the strategic company under the state’s control,“ Prime Minister Robert Fico announced during his speech on the occasion of Smer-SD’s three-year rule.
