According to the information published by Slovenske Elektrarne, the third nuclear block in Mochovce was completed to 93.4% and fourth to 78.6% due to September 1, which represents a progress compared to the data released on June 1.
The completion of the third and fourth nuclear unit in Mochovce is expected to cost 5.4 billion euros, admitted Economy Minister Peter Ziga following the cabinet’s session on Wednesday. He says that it is yet unclear whether this sum will be definite. „This sum may not be definite. In my opinion, it may be even lower. It depends on whether we want to have Mochovce NPP completed, or not and how we are going to get there,“ he said. The last sum of 4.6 billion euros was approved by the shareholders of Slovenske Elektrarne. Everything is to become clearer after the meeting of the shareholders of Slovenske Elektrarne which is in charge of this project.
