The third Mochovce unit is completed for 95 percent and the fourth for almost 83 percent.
The completion of the third and fourth unit at Mochovce Nuclear Power Plant has been advancing, but at a slow pace. Slovenske Elektrarne, which is responsible for this project, has released the latest data on the completion. The third unit is completed for 95 percent and the fourth for almost 83 percent. In early March, the third unit was completed for 94.7 percent and the fourth for 82.8 percent. The third nuclear unit is expected to be put into operation at the end of 2018, while the fourth a year later. Originally, the launch was scheduled for 2012, respectively 2013. Along with deadlines, the budget of the project has also been repeatedly modified. The latest budget stands at 5.4 billion euros instead of the initial budget of 2.8 billion euros.
