According to the Nuclear Regulatory Authority of the Slovak Republic (UJD), the planned deadlines for the completion of the third and fourth nuclear block in Mochovce are still real. Slovenske Elektrarne is expected to complete the third block by the end of 2018 and the fourth block a year later. „The permit holder for the construction of Mochovce NPP informs us about the progress of the project on the monthly basis. The first fuel cassette will be put in the reactor at the third block in mid-July 2018, the permit holder declared. This is the start of the physical launch of the nuclear power plant,“ UJD’s spokeswoman Zuzana Hostovecka informed the portal at Energetike.sk.
