The economy ministry confirmed that the new nuclear power plant project is in progress, according to the schedule.
The current leadership at the economy ministry is not informed about any talks on the entry of the new investor in the new nuclear power plant project in Jaslovske Bohunice for now. At the end of 2015, then Economy Minister Vazil Hudak admitted the interest of the Russian company Rosatom in this project which was clarified during his visit to the Russian Federation. „We do not currently have any information on the talks with the potential investors in connection with the new nuclear power plant project in Jaslovske Bohunice,“ a spokesman for Economy Minister, Maros Stano, informed the portal vEnergetike.sk. The economy ministry, however, confirmed that the new nuclear power plant project is in progress.
