Slovenske Elektrarne, which is completing two nuclear blocks in Mochovce, has reached another milestone in the completion of the third block. The company has completed the control installation of the reactor.
We will complete the third and fourth nuclear block in Mochovce (EMO), General Director of Slovenske Elektrarne, Nicola Cotugno, emphasised in front of the journalists on Friday. „Despite the crises, we will continue with this project and finish it. It will become the pillar for the Slovak energy for several generations,“ Cotugno stated at the briefing. Slovenske Elektrarne, which is finishing two nuclear blocks in Mochovce, has just hit another milestone in the completion of the third nuclear block. The company has completed the control installation of the reactor at this block. „We have completed the control installation of the internal parts of the reactor which is the heart of the power plant. This is one of the most important milestones reached in the first half of this year which also marks the completion of construction works at the third block which is now entering the testing phase,“ said Cotugno.
