The portal VEnergetike.sk found out that the audit of the Supreme Audit Office had confirmed the correctness of the police raids at the power utility Slovenske Elektrarne and the following charges against one person. The person was accused in respect of the offence of misrepresenting trade and economic records. The police announced at the end of October 2015 that L.K had been accused of allegedly causing the damage of more than 308 million euros to the state by misleading accounting transactions in the individual financial statement of Slovenske Elektrarne for the year 2005 (the state was then the only shareholder of Slovenske Elektrarne). This information was confirmed also by the Police Presidium. „We can now confirm that some conclusions of the Supreme Audit Court largely correspond with the facts for which charges against one person had been filed in respect of the offence of misrepresenting trade and economic records in connection with accounting reserves for decommissioning of nuclear facilities and spent nuclear fuel,“ a spokesman for the police force, Michal Slivka, informed.
