The power utility Slovenske Elektrarne (SE) is one step closer to putting the third nuclear block in Mochovce into operation. A Slovak dominant electricity producer launched the real-time remote handling of equipment providing the power feed for internal consumption on the third nuclear unit. „Plant’s employees may now remotely control components supplying power for unit’s internal consumption, such as circuit breakers and disconnectors and receive feedback and data on the components‘ status,“ a spokeswoman for Slovenske Elektrarne, Janka Burdova, informed.
