The investigator of the National Criminal Agency has already charged L. K. with causing damage to the state by misleading accounting operations in the individual financial statements of Slovenske Elektrarne for the year 2005.
The police have surfaced more accusations in connection with last year’s police raid at Slovenske Elektrarne. While two weeks ago, the Presidium of the Police Corps informed about five accusations concerning the operation of the hydropower plant Gabcikovo, this time the police accused a person who allegedly distorted trade and economic records in the accounting of Slovenska sporitelna. According to a spokesman for the Police Presidium, Michal Slivka, the investigator of the National Criminal Agency in team Electro charged L. K. with committing crime of misrepresentation of trade and economic data. There is a reasonable suspicion that by delusive accounting operations in the individual financial statements of Slovenske Elektrarne for the year 2005, an extensive damage estimated at more than 308 million euros was caused to the Slovak Republic represented by the economy ministry.
