The Nuclear Supervision Office carried out 70 planned inspections over the first six years. Forty of them have already been completed.
All nuclear installations in Slovakia are safe and reliable also this year, a spokeswoman for the Nuclear Supervision Office, Zuzana Hostovecka, informed the portal vEnergetike.sk. The supervisory authority carried out 70 planned inspections over the first six months of this year, while 40 of them have already been completed. “All inspections were recorded without negative findings,“ Hostovecka added. In addition to the planned inspections, the Office also carried out 11 unplanned controls. “In two cases, it will be necessary to impose measures to remove detected shortcomings in the quality management and operating documentation,“ she added.
