Nuclear facilities in Slovakia operated smoothly last year. Slovakia’s Nuclear Regulatory Authority did not impose any fines, or restricted the scope and validity of the permit, or stopped the operation of a nuclear power plant. The authority carried out over 150 planned inspections and more than 50 unplanned in 2015. „Seven inspections were followed by the protocol, while the rest by a record,“ the authority writes in the report on the state of nuclear safety in Slovakia.
