Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini thinks that some companies make never-ending stories of nuclear projects on purpose in order to assure work for the decades.
Slovak Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini believes that companies which are responsible for the completion of new nuclear power plants are making the projects a “never-ending story” intentionally. In his words, they want to assure having business in nuclear energy also in the future. “Since there are only a few nuclear power plants under construction in Europe, I have the impression that companies that specialize in the completion of nuclear power plants, want to make the projects a never-ending story in order to assure work for the decades. They do not intend to complete nuclear power plants and put them into operation because they would probably have nothing to do in the following years,“ Pellegrini said at the European Nuclear Forum in Prague.
