The discussion on the amendment to the Act on Regulation in Network Industries was scheduled for the second and third reading at the Parliament’s session in May.
The current Act on Regulation in Network Industries will be valid for at least another month. The Slovak Parliament will not discuss this amendment during the current session although MPs voted for discussing it in a shortened proceeding on Tuesday. Economy Minister Peter Ziga wants to provide more space for discussion. „MPs passed the resolution under which the act will be debated at the committee for economic affairs before May 9. The economy minister does not oppose to this solution as he wants to provide more space for discussion,“ Economy Minister’s spokesman, Maros Stano informed the portal vEnergetike.sk. The discussion on the amendment was scheduled for the second and third reading at the Parliament’s session in May.
