During the inspections, the Nuclear Regulatory Office detected 20 failures of meeting legislative requirements. These shortcomings were minor.
Slovakia’s nuclear power plants were reliable and safe last year, the Nuclear Regulatory Authority (UJD) informed the portal vEnergetike.sk. The results of the office’s controlling and evaluation activity, the operation of the nuclear installations in Slovakia was safe and reliable last year. All shortcomings detected during the inspection were removed and corrective measures that minimize the likelihood of their recurrence were adopted.
